Terms & conditions

These are the terms under which you can use Zest. They are written to be understood.

Last updated: July 2026.

This is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version of these terms is the one that applies.

1. What Zest is

Zest is a platform for building gamified campaigns: you pick a game, brand it as your own, define prizes and share it with your audience.

The service is provided as it is available at any given time. We may add, change or discontinue features; when that affects something you are already using, we tell you beforehand.

2. Your account

You are responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping your password safe. If you suspect someone else got in, change it and let us know.

You can invite your team and assign them roles. Whatever the people you invited do is considered done by your account.

3. Your campaigns and your prizes

The content of your campaigns is yours, and so is the responsibility for it: the copy, the images, the legal terms of the giveaway and the actual delivery of the prizes you promise.

We do not hand out prizes. The platform records who won and generates the redemption code; you deliver the prize.

Campaigns may not be used for illegal, misleading or discriminatory content, or content that infringes third-party rights.

4. Participant data

The data you capture through your campaigns is yours. We process it on your behalf in order to provide the service.

You are the one answering to your participants for how you use it. You must tell them why you are asking for their data and obtain their consent.

You can export it, and you can ask us to delete it.

5. Plans and payments

The free plan requires no card. Paid plans are charged in advance, monthly or yearly, depending on what you choose.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details.

You can cancel whenever you want: the service runs until the end of the period already paid for and does not renew. We do not issue pro-rata refunds for the period in progress.

If a charge fails, we notify you and you have a window to update the payment method before access is suspended.

6. Availability

We do what is reasonable to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. There may be scheduled maintenance and there may be outages.

We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages arising from an interruption.

7. Closing your account

You can close your account whenever you want. When you do, your campaigns stop being publicly available.

We may suspend an account that uses the platform for anything illegal or that puts other users at risk. Whenever possible, we give notice first.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change anything material, we notify you by email with reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after that date means accepting the new version.

For how personal data is handled, see the privacy policy. If anything is unclear, write to us.
